Very good anvil for the price.

We tarted make knife from railroad spike which is tough for the surface of the anvil and this one can take that whitout problem. Just tiny marks on surface. Received earlier than expected. Thank you!

Awesome anvil for the price. It has alot of surface area and fully functional hardy and prichtel holes. Portability is the best part of the anvil. Made of cast steel with good rebound.

Good little anvil

This anvil is my first steel anvil & it is perfec for my needs..it's a major step up from my 55lb cast iron one.. rebound is immense by comparison so work is reduced..Recommended as a great starter anvil

It's cast steel!

I didn't like the blue paint so I took the finish off with sanding disks on my grinder and rounded the corners. It was actually more shiny than this before I put a coat of Danish oil on it. Definitely cast steel from top to bottom. Face is hardened with a lot of rebound. The only thing that would make this Anvil better is if it was painted black or gray instead of the aqua blue.

Best bang for your buck!

I did a ton of research and this anvil gave the best bang for your buck. Mind you, this is not the cast iron model so be sure to select the correct one. Delivered on time without even a dent in the packaging. As for quality, perfect size for the amateur, good rebound and a nice ping to it. Included a blade about 6""x2"" (without tang) for size reference. Definitely worth the $$ and no regrets on this purchase. Might add some magnets or chain to deaden the noise for the neighbors sanity. Hope this helps.

Awesome product! ! I was at first concerned about this anvil because of the low price typically you get what you pay for. Not this time the anvil is large enough to forge swords and plenty enough weight and room to do just about any job a $500-$2000 anvil can do. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. And I received it in 6 days much earlier than the posted date. Yes it rings like a bell with only a tap.
