The design of this vice is very similar to vice's from other manufacturers. However, I felt that the Vevor 4.5\" vice was particularly good value for money and I am very pleased with it (bought directly from Vevor, but can't seem to leave a review on their website). From the pictures you will see that I have only used 3 of the mounting points, mounting the vice slightly forward of the workbench; why I hear you ask? There is no other way of attaching the vice to a workbench if (like me) you occasionally want to hold something vertical in the jaws (unless you fit wider jaw plates!). You will see from the 3rd picture, that by mounting the vice forward I am able to hold items vertically. In my case the vice is anchored to the angle iron frame of my workbench, making it particularly sturdy. Seems a little disappointing in that a small design tweak by any of the manufacturers of these swivel vices could make a good product even better.
