Enhance Your Workshop with the Cast Iron Anvil

Upgrade your metalworking projects with this cast iron anvil. It is a strong and reliable tool made for blacksmithing, metalworking, and general metal shaping. It is built from tough cast iron. This anvil provides great stability and strength. It is perfect for shaping, forging, and hammering different metals. Its smooth surface and sturdy design can handle heavy use. This single-horn anvil offers a flat working area for precise work.

Spacious Surface & Solid Design

This cast iron anvil is designed with a spacious surface to make your metalworking tasks easier. Its large, flat work area gives you plenty of space to handle metal projects comfortably. This wide surface helps you work efficiently and can take a lot of pounds without damage.

The single-horn anvil weighs 132 pounds (60 kg) and has a strong, curved base that keeps it steady while you work. This stability is important for handling heavy metal and ensures the anvil stays in place. The combination of a big, sturdy surface and a solid base makes this anvil perfect for long-lasting, heavy use.

Heavy-Duty Hole & Horn

With the ordinary anvil, you might face bending, and shaping metal could become more difficult and less precise. It can lead to uneven results. The VEVOR cast iron anvil makes it a strong and versatile tool for blacksmithing. The anvil has two horns—a rounded one and a flat one. The rounded horn is great for bending and shaping metal smoothly.

The flat horn provides a solid surface for more precise work. The blacksmith anvil also has two special holes: the pritchel hole and the hardy hole. You can punch holes in metal with the pritchel hole, and the hardy hole holds different tools that help with bending and twisting metal.

Polished for Optimal Performance

A smooth surface is easy to work on and makes shaping metal more precise and effective. The VEVOR cast iron anvil is a fantastic instrument for metalworkers and blacksmiths. Its thoroughly polished surface facilitates more accurate and efficient metal shaping.

This anvil for bending is built to last because it is rust—and corrosion-resistant. A protective spray coating and specialized treatment fortify the surface, preventing oxidation and rust. This anvil's flat surface facilitates easier and more productive labor, making it a valuable addition to any workshop.

Strong Construction for Durability

The VEVOR cast iron anvil ensures it can handle tough tasks and last long. It has a sturdy structure for heavy tasks. High-grade, drop-forged steel with exceptional strength and hardness makes this anvil. It is resistant to breaking or quickly wearing out, even under severe blows. This feature makes it a reliable tool for metalworkers.

It has outstanding hardness rated at 55 HRC. This high hardness level means the anvil's surface stays solid and smooth, even after repeated use. This feature is crucial for maintaining the quality of your work, as the anvil's surface won't dent or deform easily. This 132-lb anvil is also designed with a solid base that keeps it stable. This sturdy foundation prevents the anvil from moving or tipping over, making your work safer.

Great for Multiple Scenarios

The VEVOR cast iron anvil is great for many different tasks. It works great for shaping, straightening, and pounding metal components. It is frequently used in shops by blacksmiths and metalworkers for metal forming, riveting, flattening, and forging. It is an excellent option for any professional or amateur metalworker because of its robust, hardened steel surface. The 132-lb anvil is a useful tool for any project because of its strength and adaptability, which allow it to perform various tasks well.

The well-tempered anvil
Sold my very large anvil and invested in this. Very happy. Excellent quality casting. Ideal for driving out kingpins and cold-tempering road springs at a weight I can move around if necessary. Strongly recommended.

Ideal for my post vice tripod.
Pleased with this. People asking far too much for old anvils and these offer a viable alternative. Shame we don’t make them in our own country!

Don't be put off by the pictures
Let's start with the good, I paid £65 for the 20kg vevor anvil and it was at my doorstep the next day. Not bad for a hefty hunk of steel(well, it's meant to be?) perfect size for something smaller and portable for home use or on the workshop bench. Pritchel and Hardy holes are welcome useful additions. Large(for its weight) workface nice and flat and well centred mass over stout legs so doesn't have the tendency to rock or jump when working hard. Now the negatives. Pritchel hole on mine is not plumb and has casting defects inside. Hardy hole edges razor sharp and chewed to bits. And the overall finish gives the impression that it was the last one cast on a Friday and the first one finished by the apprentice on Monday morning... BUT, I reiterate, this was a £65 new anvil delivered to my door the next day. Yes, the overall finish quality may be lacking compared to the product picture, but for the sake of 20 minutes cleaning the edges up and radiusing your preffered shoulders you really can't go far wrong with this product unless you are really pushing it's limits or abusing it with a 10lb sledge. Highly recommend for the hobbyist blacksmith, perfect for a small easy moved setup or as a cost effective entry to the hobby
